I bought the black version. The design is sleek and it fits really well in the box. One small issue: on my version, there’s no side slot, so the helper cards can’t be inserted into the big Alien box. Otherwise, perfect.

just as expected, even with spare parts
The insert was packed well for shipping; it arrived intact. All components look great and fit in the box. Game pieces fit into the insert boxes. I would caution people to be sure the resources are shaken down to ensure no components are above the lip of the holder; the lid uses a honeycomb lattice to give strength without weight, but there is the chance for a component to poke through the lid if you push the lid on. It looks beautiful on the table and in the box.
